Minford girls is scheduled to play Washington CH Friday.Someone from Paint Valley please post schedule.

FRIDAY, 11/28: Vinton County vs. Eastern Pike, noon; Wheelersburg vs. Athens, 1:45; Piketon vs. Leesburg Fairfield, 3:30; Minford vs. Washington CH, 5:15; Westfall vs. Waverly, 7.

SATURDAY, 11/29: Western Pike vs. East Clinton, 10 a.m.; Adena vs. Manchester, 11:45; Huntington vs. Western Brown, 1:30; Southeastern vs. Lucasville Valley, 3; Northwest vs. Jackson, 4:45; South Webster vs. Lynchburg-Clay, 6:30; Paint Valley vs. Whiteoak, 8:15

will this be delayed if the football team advances?

Delayed for who? several schools have football teams that are in this shootout. Burg, Athens, Valley, Jackson and host PV.

Paint Valley or any of the other football teams would have to make it to the state-semifinals to still be playing during this. That very well could happen, but I would imagine the Tip Off Classic would still be ok to play.

Delayed for Paint Valley since the football coach is the one who puts this on and they have now advanced to week 12.

Sorry to all...been super busy but the PV Classic will be played regardless

The Vinton County-Eastern game is off for the Paint Valley Classic, and Vinton County is seeking a team to replace Eastern as Eastern pulled out.

Should be interesting....I don't know enough to predict just yet. Lynchburg/SW should be a good one.

Is there a reason Eastern pulled out of the game against Vinton County? Did they make a mistake and have too many games, or double booked or something?

I was told Eastern already had 22 games scheduled & could not play in the classic due to this.

They had an AD retire last year & have a brand new one this year, that may have caused some confusion.

The Athens -Burg game got moved up to 12 noon in place of Vinton County - Eastern game. Not sure if all of the other games got moved up as well. Part of the reason was the Athens football game.

Were all set for the 2014 Classic....will post scores n highlights throughout the next 2 days. We enjoy hosting this event....great to get the Ladies an early season look in an atmosphere exclusively for them.
