The Wellston Lady Rockets will be hosting their 4th Annual Junior High Girls Basketball Tournament. The tournament will start on Saturday February 9th, 2012. The fee is $50.00 per team or $90.00 if you bring you both your 7th and 8th grade teams. Each team will be guaranteed 2 games apiece in each division. Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams along with All Tournament and MVP awards for both divisions. any update on teams that have signed up for this tournament. also are you running it the same as last yr as far as it being double elem?

What teams are registered? Is there a schedule you could possibly post?

I know of one team that should be registered( per varsity coach and A.D) . Alexander 7th and 8th

I can't remember the exact scores but Waverly and jackson was a close game and ironton beat Athens 40 something to 8. I don't think Athens ever hit double digits. Ironton 8th is very physical.

yeah, i remember irontons 8th grade team last yr as 7th graders. they do play a physical game alot like symmes valley 8th grade played against us thurs. it is nice to get to play some different teams from other areas and see the difference in how the game is played.
