Have a question.

Would it be okay for may jr. high team to scrimmage a jr. varsity or varsity squad from another school to increase the competion we play? I know we do this during summer, but is it allowed after official practices begn? I knw we can't play a scheduled regular season game, but how about a scrimmage before I decide to do so?

My understanding is the OHSAA prohibits junior high students from playing with, practicing with or scrimmaging high school students.

I don't think that they can regulate the summer leagues unless the summer leagues are used as part of the limited contact days.

I copied this OHSAA rule from another thread:

34.3) 7th & 8th grade students may not practice with, participate on the same team with or compete against 9th through 12th grade students.
