west fought hard in this game n it was close but a big win for the lady senators. good job by the graf girl n kegley girl for hitting the big free throws at the end. alot of composure on kegleys part only being a freshman.. congrats!!

Symmes Valley seems to be kinda up and down this year. Beating New Boston and losing to Portsmouth West in the same season are the two extemes as far as the SOC standings go. What's going on over there?

What is going on over at SV? Nothing except young ladies who won't dedicate themselves to the sport. They don't believe they need to be in early on nights before a game. They stay on their computers, phones, and cell phones till all hours and then think they can be prepared for their games the next day!!!! Right!!!

I hear them talking about sleeping in class at school! Two questions, why would they be allowed to sleep in class and why would they have to sleep in class? Now, why do we lose ballgames when we clearly have the better talent?

Good point could that be why they led West Portsmouth by fourteen points before half and then blew it in the second half due to exhaustion and cheap fouling and was beaten by a team who had not won a game all year. Popcorns reasons kind of make sence when you look at how they have played this year.

Who coaches them and how long have they been there? Does the coach work in the school? You would think that if they did, they would put an end to the sleeping in class stuff.

How are the Lady Vikings Jr. High and JV?

The 7th and 8th grade Vikings are loaded with talent and height. The high school J.V. has struggled all year.

Lady vikings beat St Joe saturday. The flyers are a little weak this year. The vikings while winning easy did not look like what they are capable of playing. There guards have lost there quickness and are not reading the defense like they used too. There open shots are also not hitting. There shooting percentage has to be 20 percent or lower now. Were it not for the rebounding of #4 and # 32 the flyers could have made it a much closer game. The flyers were able to pass to #3 in the middle at will because the guards just stood there like statues. The lady vikings are playing very stale ball right now. So much for unused talent.

Good luck girls, your going to need it unless you come out of it tonight at western.
