Athens defeats Portsmouth 47-43 in 2 OT's
Adianna Lein scored a career high 18 points to lead Athens to a come from behind win in two overtimes. Robin Morley hit a short jumper for Athens to put the game in the 1st overtime and then Cailin Rodriquez put in a rebound basket for Portsmouth to force a 2nd overtime before a free throw by Abie Salyer gave Athens a four point lead at the end. Abie Salyer had 11 points for Athens. Cassie Taylor led Portsmouth with a game high 19 points and Cailin Rodriquez added 12. The win gave Athens two wins for the season and their first in league play.
