Oak Hill just pounded Alexander.
They were up by about 25 points in the third quarter, and ended up winning by about 20. Don't know any stats though, sorry.

went to scout this game and I was in shock at how Alexander played. They are in for a long season

I think anytime you lose a 4-yr starter and All-Ohioan in Keylie Guthrie (sp) you will definitely miss that player.

There is talent on that Alexander team....it's up to the coach to use it the right way.

Coach Guthrie does a great job with his team. He expects hard work from them every night. Don't forget, he did make it to the final four last year. He must know a little about the game. Good luck the rest of the year ladies and keep working hard!!

That is almost as bad of a quote as the Meigs fans.

Didn't this coach go to the final four last year? Amazing. He must have forgotten how to coach. People like you amaze me!!

sportsmonster let me clarify myself. I did not write that to have the coach bashed. What amazed me was the way the girls played as Coach Hale said he perpared his girls to play a tough nosed team and I didn't see it. Every time I have watched or played against his teams they are physically tough and their fundamentals are great (boxing out and defense) I just didn't see that on Saturday. I seen the program and they are young so I am sure he will get them to play his style soon. I just hope it is in a couple weeks after we play them. lol I would not want to draw Alex. in the tournament

To those that got their feathers ruffled - The coaching staff should get things rolling eventually - there was no intent to bash them - just making a statement that I heard over and over at the convo on Saturday after the game. I hope you Spartans do well.
