Congratulations to Bobby Blanton and Drew Emnett who join the ranks of Clay High School head coaches. Coach Blanton becomes the 21st BBK coach since 1940 while Coach Emnett becomes the 15th GBK coach since 1976 Go Panthers!

Hearing their star 8th grader (Hamilton) and maybe others are headed to Eastern Brown. Hamilton’s dad was the previous coach.

Yes heard the same a few days ago at work from a guy that lives in that area. Sounds like some issues went unresolved the last few years with the previous coach and AD didn’t take care of it very well. EB may be the big winner here, have heard the young Hamilton can really play.

Interesting hire just curious on her experience but either way sometimes a younger coach just has a way of connecting with teams so this could be great hire. That conference is outstanding and can beat you down. Nothing but the best to the new coach.

Kayla was once a referee before she turned to the darkside (jk). But you could always tell where her heart was. She belonged in coaching. She will do an excellent job for the Panthers but she is filling some big shoes. Ben was one of the best on girls side. Good luck to both.

Taylor Mullins is the new coach at Wellston High School.
