Don't put too much into a game that takes place the first week of the season. Circleville played a defense that Court House has not seen a lot of here of late and struggled against it, but still only lost by a point. Court House's top 2-3 players are as good as anyone in the D2 district.Ironman92 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 14, 2018 12:29 pmThey lost to Circlevilledanicalifornia wrote: ↑Fri Dec 14, 2018 9:15 am I think it is still Washington, but the Vikings are a super talented (and young) team who will win a whole lot of games and be a favorite to at least reach the District Finals.
They are one of the teams that could beat VC....might even be favored. I’d like to see VC vs Eastern Brown
Vinton is better this year, I will give them lots of credit there. non-league schedule is marginally better, Unioto is down, Warren is down. But the schedule is what it is, kids just have to go play. Eastern Brown would maul VC with their post play. Court House is more athletic and longer, and Sheridan is probably the class of the SE District this year. But hey, only got to beat them at the right time.bman wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 12:48 amDon't put too much into a game that takes place the first week of the season. I'll give the edge to Sheridan and Court House over Vinton County right now.
Good rundown and view on things.thebarlowbandit wrote: ↑Wed Dec 19, 2018 12:50 pmVinton is better this year, I will give them lots of credit there. non-league schedule is marginally better, Unioto is down, Warren is down. Trace is always going to play solid defense, which keeps them in just about every game they can play. If they can get 20 points from Lovett and Wolfe to go with McDonald's scoring, they're still pretty solid, despite losing two 1,000 point scorers to graduation.
I’d put MT on a nightly basis above VC. Better schedule, more physical style of play and better size. Plus they play great defense.bman wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 1:10 amTrace is always going to play solid defense, which keeps them in just about every game they can play. I can’t judge on the others, but this is the best Unioto team in the past 4 years. Still might lose 3 non-league games and the SVC is wayyyyy down, but they are decent. That was a good win for VC.thebarlowbandit wrote: ↑Wed Dec 19, 2018 12:50 pmVinton is better this year, I will give them lots of credit there. non-league schedule is marginally better, Unioto is down, Warren is down.
