Renee was the head coach an I thought did a hell of job. thought up at lancaster that year that megan k should have taken the last shot and not m.pope. megan had the hot hand that night.

got to remember that the teachers (union)gets 1st shot at all supplemental contracts. if nobody taks it then you can go outside the system. todd an all the others have others jobs. i know todd works at holzer clinic in point.

its the only way they can get the job.

You won the bet!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brandi was the name and I remember her going to Shawnee State. Didn't Pope go somewhere else before she returned to Rio?

loved to watch Megan play in HS just wish I could have seen some of her college games.

In my research on the history of Blue Angel basketball (I'm doing this from memory as I've turned my research over to coach Barnes) those teams went to the regionals three consecutive years. I believe Sarah went on to play at Stanford and later was head coach at Marshall. Nancy had a very nice career at Ohio U, and Margaret is our current Municipal Court judge in Gallia County. Those girls put up some incredible records as well.

wasn't the other two starters sisters also... combs or something like that?

What type of season do you think you'll have? The SEOAL is a tough league for sure...

4ever saw both era's play. I would have to say the Evans sister era was the best ever JMO thought. They were both very good teams at Gallia Academy and I'm glad I saw them both play!!!!!

I think Renee and the new staff will do a great job. Jeff Lanham brings a wealth of experience to the program from his coaching days at URG. Plus, he comes from good coaching stock: Art Lanham.
Either Todd Miller or Chris Ellcessor would have been good choices, too.
