Shootout Rules:

• Games will consist of two 16-minute halves running clock exp.last min of each half.
• Halftime will be 5 minutes.
• Clock will only stop in the last minute of each half, and timeouts.
• Each team will be given two timeouts per game, plus one extra for overtime.
• On shooting fouls we will shoot two shots.
• One and One will be shot after 7 team fouls.
• Overtime will be two minutes. Any additional overtime will be sudden death.
• Each team will play 3 games during the round-robin, we will then seed the tournament based on wins and points given up.

Congrats Jackson. The people from Jackson need to thank Scott Ridout for all the hard work he has put in to these girls over the past 5 years!!!!!!

Jackson fought through a tough Vinton Co squad, took overtime to knock off Peebles, and then fought back against Miami Trace to win it. We should have some exciting basketball in Southern Ohio over the next 5 years.

I agree with your comments about Scott. If Jackson had a few more like him, maybe we could be a force to be reckoned with game after game.

Thanks all who came and either supported or played yesterday. We had an amazing turnout. Jackson in first, then Miami Trace in a close second, ending with Peebles in third. We will be hosting a similar tournament around the same time next year so keep us in mind and look for us to post information on this site. Thanks again for encouraging and supporting your athletes.
