BP- If Chillicothe has a solid press, I can see them beating the Lady Shermans easily. Our girls have struggled with the press at times, but if Chillicothe tries to outphysical them, it could be a big win for the Shermans.

I think it just depends on what type of game it starts off as.

Although, both teams have to win 1st!

Let's talk about the Greenfield game first. Washington Court House might beat Unioto also, just like they beat Circleville at last year's sectional. you just never know! One game at a time.

We'll see how McClain is tomorrow night when Unioto makes the trip down to Greenfield.

Unioto beat WCH by about 10 the 1st time and didn't play very well(lots of missed layups/free throws) but WCH may have the right stratagy to get the victory.

Unioto better not look ahead at all, 6 games before a possible matchup with Chillicothe, including playing 15-1 Huntington on Thursday.

Proctorville Fairland HS - far eastern edge of Lawrence Co. - located on Rt 7 upriver a little from Chesapeake; downriver from Gallipolis. Team name is the Dragons - they're in the OVC.

P.S. [added much later] All the above is true, but apparently the correct name of the school posted in this particular match-up and bracket
2/6 8pm #3 Marietta vs #6 Fairland. Two winners meet 2:45pm 2/9

is not "Fairland" - it's Lancaster Fairfield Union.

Probably everyone else already knew that, and I just stupidly attempted to answer what seemed to me like a legitimate question posed by a relatively new poster.
I'm sorry - I took the question seriously and responded "helpfully" - I guess the joke is on me.

We'll see how deep Unioto is before the tournament, just read online that one of it's top players will most likely be out until the tournament, if she comes back at all.

She'll be alright, but you know it's going to be tough for her to miss this week's big games.
