First of all thank you Jackson radio for airing that game! Now thanks ironladies for a great regular season. I'm not a huge basketball fan on any level but I can honestly say that was one of the best of any high school sport games I have ever followed.
You girls I believe will go very far post season and as much as that loss hurt you I think it may be a blessing in disguise.
No matter what happens from here good luck and thanks for a minimum co-championship this year.

I thought Gallia Academy played pretty well today. They made a ton of difficult shots, and really made the Ironladies work to open up a comfortable lead just before halftime. Jackson just overwhelmed them, though, in the 3rdQ and cruised to their third win over GAHS this season.

The Ironladies are still playing well defensively, and that pressure and intensity will be very beneficial throughout the tournament. On the offensive end, they're hitting the offensive glass hard and getting a lot of second chance points. A lot of the perimeter shots just haven't been falling lately. If they can get hot from outside at the right time, watch out.

Congrats to the girls for bringing home a sectional championship. Already looking forward to next Saturday against WCH.

I did a search and found it in the Gallipolis paper. It was written on the Gallia side but it was a very good article.

Are there two Jackson papers? I always just knew of a Jackson Journal something. I didn't see an article on that site.
