NUTS&BOLTS wrote:Logan is the team to beat. Chillicothe lost their coach and their star player. This will be a rebuilding season with a new coach and style of play. Ironton lost alot of key players. Warren could give logan a run for the title yes they lost brooks but they have depth and they can shoot the threes and play tenancious defense. They have an important ingreident which chillicothe doesn't have a true point guard who gets the other players involved in the game.

Glad to see you have returned from the dead NUTS&BOLTS!

Ironton should be good if the Seniors are willing to step their games up and work hard. Show the underclassmen what it is all about.Janie Morris, Brea Tackett, Lorna Caesar, Lilly, return and there are some others to add to the mix. Coach Graham, Coach Pride, and Coach Freeman will have them conditioned and ready to play with the best.
Mercedes Crockrell is a huge loss as a scorer and rebounder, and running an offense. She will be missed.

If he's going to do it it will be a D1 sectional championship, not D2,so it wont be very easy.Like the the Unioto bracket wasn't hard enough. If they were still in D2 I would have liked their chances a little better this year.Best of luck non the less!!

Looks like the teams in the SEOL will be pretty evenly matched. Tenure is on the side of the Logan chiefs but they have lost there starting point guard and how they respond to this will be important. I see Marietta as being the team that will challenge for being the big dog. (Tough place to play??) Could be a down year for Chilli. Warren and Ironton will surely be in the mix. Portsmouth could be a sleeper and Gallia and Jackson really unk. Lot of games on tap for this week so play the game and good luck to all the teams.

Warren also is without senior Santini. Don't know why, not an injury though, but they are still a team of guards, without a true center. If they can get into a running game they should hold their own. But a slow down with big players pounding the boards could make for a long season. Don't know if any freshmen will make an impact. And is the Richards girl hurt?

TISIMHO

Jackson isn't very tall but could pose some matchup problems. They have some good athletes.
