Bartley 16 pts for Miller
Hixson 12 pts for Trimble

... back to back to back turnovers by Trimble led to 6 straight Miller points ... costing the Tomcats the 6-7 point lead they enjoyed the majority of the first 2 Qtrs ...

Big man is for real. I know he had 18 points and 10 blocks. Not sure if he had enough rebounds for a triple double but as a 7-1 sophomore he had 2 alley oop dunks and a 3 pointer. Will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.

My Sherman’s pulled out a nail biter tonight late over the Paint Valley Bearcats! PV shooting lights out the first half. But General Hoops keeps the Tanks streak rolling on!!!!

Dylan Swingle with 31 points and 20 rebounds tonight for Paint Valley. I'll never get over how absurd the posts were here after that Piketon game this year questioning his talent. Great touch, great footwork too.

Yes, Swingle is a beast. He has great footwork! I think the biggest issue early on was his conditioning. But no doubt he has all the ability. 31 pts and 20 Rebs against Hill and Fisher is saying something.

I will say, SVC is fortunate to have some of, if not THE top players in SE Ohio with Swingle (PV)Swackhammer (U) and Perdue (Piketon). Going to be a lot of fun down the stretch.

For our area he is a generational type player. The problem with kids like that is people never want to believe it. Any opportunity they get to let people know that someone really isn't that good then they jump all over it. It's almost like the posters on here about kids transferring or being held back. It's only the good ones they complain about.

I did think he looked out of shape against us but word was he had the flu or something. But to question his talent or value at this level or the next is silly.

Portsmouth 69, Chesapeake 63.......the Trojans let a 14 point 4th quarter lead melt to only 2 points as the Panthers took advantage of turnovers. PHS held on, though, with a couple of key baskets with less than a minute remaining. 6-2 senior Daniel Jordan had 28 points and about 15 rebounds. Portsmouth is now 7-2 on the season, and will host Fairland Tuesday. The Dragons have won 32 OVC games in a row dating back 2 years.

Whiteoak getting it going now. They are now 4-6, winning 3 in a row and improved in each one of them. Have called up 6’4 sophomore Breydon Yeager and he has helped. Have played Peebles twice and played them well. Have played good Fairfield team, Fayetteville and were neck and neck with a good New Boston team until late fouling to stay alive....and of course would have 4 straight wins but at Westfall beat them on a near miracle comeback and drilled a late shot to steal the win. You probably had them a touch high but I feel they are around a mid 40’s team....but trending up

Peebles coach Arey is quietly coaching perhaps his best yet. Back to back come from behind games. Only losses we're double overtime games Congrats Coach Arey.
