... the committee of one - me - is running behind on the Elite 8 - having to go back to the 3rd week of action to see exactly "who has beaten whom" takes some doing BUT! look for the Elite 8 coming out Monday night with the whole lineup of Pfloyd's Elite 8, Treehugger Wannabes and yes those Teams on the End Table ...

... Monday night, 9 pm ... the Pfloyd Elite 8 returns to SEOP ...

... haven't had the energy after working all day to do much work on the Treehugger Wannabes or the End Table teams BUT I did put together MY top 8 teams in Southern Ohio :

4. Warren (13-1) ... Big Blue visits Coach Maddox's stomping grounds in the Land of Purple

5. Peebles (13-1) ..."W" vs WhiteOak Tuesday night, PHS w/breathers vs Fay'ville/Western Latham

6. Logan Elm (12-2) ... held Hillsboro to 29 points Tues. looking for some mo vs Roundtown 2/4

7. Piketon (14-1) ... Red Streaks work to "get healthy" vs pesky upstart Southeastern 2/4

8. Miami Trace (11-2)... MT looking to get payback for an early season loss vs Hillsboro 2/4

... sorry guys - the Elite 8 will not be out tonight ... the committee of one - me HAS been working on the lists since getting home from "my first day back to work" - I'M BEAT/very tiring day , haven't gotten the lists completed ... I'll continue to work on the lists for another hour or so IF I get them completed I'll post 'em ... IF not tonight - they WILL BE OUT Tuesday ...

... sorry folks didn't want to let you down but that first day back to school just knocked my socks off stamina wise ...

I just heard Warren won all three games tonite vs Jackson. Don't know the scores, but varsity won 86-54. Warren is 13-1 now.

I've watched Chesapeake 3 times this year.. Enjoyable to watch.. Play outstanding defense... good TEAM ball.. pass well.. balanced scoring... good transition game... fundamentally sound..... good size... quickness.. and great coaching.... With the right breaks, they may end up at State again.... It's difficult, but their chances look good.

Have to agree with "Focused" on the Peake.......I have coached (in WV) and watched (tri-state and beyond) much HS basketball over the last 25 yrs. !!! Well balanced...4 scoring options (Copley,McMasters,C Kenn. and E. Kenn.) and willing to D up!!!! any HS would love to have that......hope a run to the Final 4 is in the cards......don't turn your back on Portsmouth...they seem to be getting better and angry @ the same time...........
