Sorry I wasn't able to make it down to the court in time to have a little chat pfloyd. Hope you enjoyed the atmosphere at The U tonight. It was the 1st game with double digit turnovers for the Shermans in the last 6 outings (12). The 2nd half defense by the Shermans was smoothering, holding a solid ZT ballclub to only 16 points after the break.

59-33 TV win. Shocking differential in Roundtown tonight.

I'm just going to keep posting...

Good win for Piketon, winners of 6 straight now after their tight win over PV.

Southeastern beats Adena by a bucket in Brian Hall's 1st game for the Warriors. Sounded like they had some issues molding together, but I'm sure that will be taken care of quickly. Panthers stay only a game back from Unioto.

Westfall gets a big road win in the Township in overtime. Huntington is a tough place to win, even when they are down. A very good road win for the young Mustangs.

SVC Standings

Unioto 6-0, 11-0
Southeastern 5-1, 8-3
Paint Valley 3-3, 7-4
Piketon 3-3, 6-4
Zane Trace 3-3, 7-4
Adena 2-4, 7-5
Westfall 2-4, 4-5
Huntington 0-6, 2-10

daniC … great atmosphere last night in Unioto … those ZT fans are brutal ! LOL … was right in the middle of them near the "50 yard line" LOL … I did chat briefly with Coach Hoops - verified with him that Unioto DOES have "cheap seats" just like Logan LOL …

… the story line from last night :

Erique Hosley - "a man among boys" … a beast that KNOWS how to get position in the paint … reminds me of a stronger Hayden Dunn who graduated last year at Lucasville Valley … just add more strength, hoops LOL …

Hosley is flanked by "beast number 2" on the boards Alek Adkins … he too gets off the floor and crashes the boards …

Defense IS the name of the game - Unioto plays it … gets after it … makes you pay with it …

Unioto - solid, inside and outside offensively , 9 deep without losing anything at either end of the floor when Coach Hoops uses it (the bench) … defensively a juggernaut that just keeps coming at you for 32 minutes … well deserving of the Elite 8 number one ranking …

I hope he's good on the other 6 days of the week too. Those tend to be pretty important!

I mean college ball. Saw an updated list and he's the 75th ranked player in the country for 2016. And if you are my Kentucky Wildcats you only play on Saturdays and almost lose during the week

Peebles turning down challenge to play lucasville Valley this past week? True?
