Weird that athens at Logan elm is on Thursday. Hopefully we aren't playing Akron SVSM on Friday. Be Logan elm, Akron SVSM, and then beast of the southeast

Minford is also playing Columbus Bishop Watterson and Chesapeake. Along with warren and chillicothe, coach shoemaker has beefed up the schedule. It might hurt in seeding, but should get the minford team tournament ready for div 2.

I feel Peebles needs to move down. Tired of them protecting their record for an easier walk through the tournament. Many offers over the years have presented themselves for them to play great teams, but being fearful of a loss have chosen powerhouses like New Boston , Jackson etc. For that reason they should be bumped down at least 3 spots.

UKProf: Peebles has played Portsmouth the last 3 years, losing at Portsmouth in 2012, winning at Peebles in 2013, and losing this past season at Portsmouth 67-46. The Trojans went 24-3 (state runnerup) in 2012, 10-13 in 2013, and 19-5 this past season. The two schools won't be able to play each other in 2014-2015 because Portsmouth is playing a round robin schedule in both the SEOAL and OVC, which leaves only 2 non-conference games, those being Wheelersburg and Chillicothe. I wouldn't be surprised that in 2015-2016 that the two schools will be playing again, because there will be room for Portsmouth to have 10 non-conference games.

Peebles has scheduled Portsmouth x3, Piketon x3, and Africentric all in the regular season the past three years with very good league games with Eastern, Lynchburg, and Fairfield. They play a tougher schedule than probably any other D4 team in the district with the potential exception of South Webster. We have a game scheduled with Summit Country Day this year. Also, the Indians will compete for a district title the year immediately after Beau graduates as well. They will not be in short supply of talent for at least another 4-5 years.

Cameron Gordley will be one of the best players in the SHAC by then. They will also be the deepest, and probably biggest, team in the league. They have just as much coming back as any other top D4 team.
