5 senior starters for Piketon. 2 soph's and a freshman start for Unioto. Can Piketon stop Chase Dettillion? Can Unioto keep all 3 of the big 3 under 40 combined points? I think those are the keys to the game.

... everyone keep up the good work in reporting scores Below the Line ... the next Elite 8 list will NOT be out until after Christmas as I will be admitted to OSU Medical Center/the James Thursday morning, 12/20 for Rd3 of my IL-2 chemo treatments ... I will be there thru Christmas day ... I will get over the hump after completing this round with indications of 1 more round to go in early January - fingers crossed ... 93dog said he would hold down the fort for the next week or so ... get out there and support the teams/coaches/kids in Southern/Southeastern Ohio during this holiday hoops season ...

Unioto plays without two of its top 6 out with nagging injuries, but both should be back for next weekend. Sophomore Nick Corcoran led the Shermans with 17, fellow Soph Nick Overly had 12 of the bench and Chase Detillion had 12 as well. Zach Downs and Kyle Strange combined to do a great job containing the Aces' Andrew Otto.

Also at halftime, they had a ceremony for a soldier stationed overseas who was a Unioto graduate who has kids currently enrolled at the school and at the end, the solider came out to surprise his family. It was a very touching and cool moment for everyone there and especially that family.

Hope everything is going well pfloyd and that you'll be home to have a very merry Christmas.
