It really is good popcorn, I guess that's the only way to make up for the amazing price of admission.

Division IV

Racine Southern - 17th

Those voters must have been reading Floyd's top 8 and liked what ol 93Dog had to say about the situation ...

final

bloom carroll 62

logan elm 50

anybody have a total of 3 point shots made in this game? at the half the score was bc 34 le 13. The Elm for some reason had trouble defending the 3 ball. LE made a valiant effort in the second half cutting the lead to 11 with BC going into prevent mode in the middle of the 3rd qtr and LE amping up the pressure.

Bloom-Carroll is the best team I've seen this year. Good defense, and they have a swarm of shooters to knock a team out. McGlone is a very fine guard, Ireland is a good wing and Schmitz is a good three-ball shooter. Also have some other solid pieces. B-C converted on 9 of 10 trips down the floor in the second quarter and shot 9 of 13 for the quarter. Conversely, LE was 1 of 10 in the second quarter. LE played three good quarters, but had one awful quarter and you can't do that against B-C.

Bloom-Carroll 62, Logan Elm 50
BLOOM-CARROLL — James 0-2-2; McGlone 9-2-24; Schmitz 5-0-14; Watts 2-2-8; Ireland 4-2-12; Baker 1-0-2. Three-point goals — McGlone (4); Schmitz (4); Watts (2) and Ireland (2). Totals —21 8-9 62.
LOGAN ELM — Young 6-2-18; Moore 1-0-2; Vagnier 3-5-12; Pritchard 2-2-6; Riffle 4-0-10; Cody Heeter 0-2-2. Three-point goals — Young (4); Riffle (2) and Vagnier. Totals — 16 11-15 50.
Quarter scores 1 2 3 4 F
Bloom-Carroll 10 24 11 17 62
Logan Elm 8 5 16 21 50

Also, the Circleville Tigers picked up their eighth win of the season.

Circleville 41, Amanda-Clearcreek 37
Amanda-Clearcreek — Andrix 3-0-7, Thress 3-4-10, Brewer 0-1-1, Smith 5-1-11, Cremeans 1-0-2, Otto 2-0-6. Three-point goals — Andrix, Otto (2). Totals —15-6-37.
Circleville — Burroughs 0-2-2, Smith 1-0-2, Amey 4-2-10, Stolarz 1-0-2, Hamman 2-0-5, Moats 7-4-18, Manson 1-0-2. Three-point goals — Hamman. Totals — 16-8-41.
Quarter scores 1 2 3 4 F
Amanda-Clearcreek 5 10 10 12 37
Circleville 7 13 12 9 41

LE 8-2 travels to 8-2 CHS on Tuesday for a game in the Mill Street Gymnasium to decide the Pickaway County championship.
