Halftime

1st half 3pt shooting
H- 5-13 (Ames 3, Cundiff, Try. Cumberland)
W- 4-11 (Penwell 2, Shaw, Eckles)

H- 6-8 from the line, W- 1-3

Lots of putbacks for Hillsboro, WCH is getting baited into Hillsboro's excellent helpside D and getting called for charges. Too many TOs for the Blue Lions to hang for now. We'll see what adjustments get made.

WCH is down a couple of players, but it wouldn't matter. Being outclassed by the very athletic Indians. Still unsure on Indians against a tough defensive team, but they are going to be a real tough out.

Hillsboro 49
WCH 38

Same ref has now missed 3 block/charge calls in the game, simply because he wants to do the charge signal so badly. Seems like a big problem in our area, IMO.

Hillsboro lead down to 5 with 4 minutes left. WCH started working hard on D and are back in it. Boro struggling in the half court to get shots off. WCH pounding it inside on O.

Hillsboro extended it to 55-46 with a minute left when I left. Full napkin(notebook) stats in a bit.

Fairfield Union. 48
Circleville. 42

Ugly game early as FU didn't t score for the first 5 minutes of the game. Finally got going and led 18 to 15 at half. FU stretched the lead out in the 3rd and then with 5 min to go in the 4th and up by 10 or more, they started playing stall ball and let Circleville right back in the game. Got down to 2 before FU hit FT s to make the final score.

I was very good friends with the girls mom who started tht title IX crap. The girl wanted nothing to do about it, but the mom was not going away without a fight. And they had the money to do it. A LOT of money!!

What a tremendous job Pfloyd does at getting this thread ready each week. This is a tremendous site and Pfloyd is one reason why. I will certainly be praying for your strength for preparation, courage, and Christ's healing to come over you throughout the next couple weeks.

Southeastern Ohio fans are some of the best in the state and there are very few more passionate about high school sports.

I saw where you haven't posted in a couple of days, hope you're still doing well.

Heading out to the top Rival game of the 90s in the SVC, Unioto @ Zane Trace. Unioto(8-3) is back to full strength and this will be Cole Murray's 1st game of 2012. But, the Pioneers(6-6) are a proud bunch and want to protect their home court. Should be a good one.
