This may not be as top heavy as the Logan sectional, but it is still very good overall. Circleville will be a load for anybody this season, possibly the best backcourt in the SE. Minford/Miami Trace/Unioto are all 3 very athletic teams who can guard and have several guys who can score the ball frequently. WCH has 6-7 guys who can knock down the 3 ball and while they are undersized, they move the ball so well that they are very difficult to stop. McClain will be McClain. They still have a little talent in town and will make you earn any victory over them. Hillsboro is no pushover either. I have no idea on Gallia, but I do know Jackson is still a ways away from really competing.

How crazy would things get in the Logan sectional if Fairfield Union beat Logan Elm tonight?

Your best bet for LE losses would be in Florida. Possibly Zane Trace (Hutton will be there this year, but it's at LE) and Bloom Carroll, but they only play once before the draw and it's at LE.

West was 5 of 10 from the line. Both teams struggled. Valley had a 3rd quarter lead of 10 and West never could get closer then f4 until the finale three pointer went down to lose by 3

Cameron34Crazie34 ... it was a good win for Valley as Portsmouth West seems to always give them trouble ( I believe the Senators handed the Indians a final game of the regular season loss last season after Valley won the first encounter by 2 points 78-76)... looking forward to seeing Valley vs Warren saturday night in Marietta ...

The Warriors are starting to gel and catch their stride. The loss to Portsmouth may end up being a turning point in the season. Going to Beverly and knocking off the Cadets was big. Fort Frye along with St Clairsville are favorites in the DIII East District. I believe other than Warren they've lost one game at home in 3 years( EasternDSpy will correct me if I'm wrong). Following that up with ANOTHER road win against ANOTHER undefeated team in Fairfeild Christian Academy. Steve Carpenter is the REAL deal lighting various Warrior defenders up for 39 points. Warren played locked down D on everybody else rotating different defensive looks. Carpenter's 39 couldn't keep pace with the Warriors balance. Hall 17, French 15, Patton 15 and Drayer 13. Most nights 70 points with that kinda balance means a W. Aaron Murzurkiwitz was big for the Warriors as was Andrew Henthorn. The junior guards applied relentless pressure on the Knight's backcourt and made hustle plays all over the floor. Drayer and Hall were a force inside. Drayer had 6 buckets in the paint and Hall scored several times off low post moves. The versatile junior also added a nice 2 hand dunk that got the Warrior faithful up off their feet.

The road only gets harder as Warren heads to Marietta Colege Ban Johnson Feildhouse to tangle with a VERY VERY good Valley team. The Warriors have their work cut out for them 4sure.

GO BIG BAD BLUE!

The Portsmouth loss to South Point has to be an eye opener working against Warren, cant consider that a "good" loss any longer especially at home

No loss is a good loss point blank period. However it can serve as a wake up call. Portsmouth is a good team that's has some young pieces, which makes them inconsistent. Coach Collins is a good coach and I'm quite sure NOBODY in DIII SE District will wanna play the Trojans come tourney time.
