Floyd ... You might want to add Vinton County to that list of 8 man ... The Vikings have been on a tear of late, winning eight games-in-a-row - including the big tonight over No. 7 Piketon ... Now, I know your not a big fan of the T.V.C - but Vinton will have every opportunity to prove itslef up in Logan here in a few weeks ... Why not throw the boys from McArhur a bone (en elite 8 ranking) and see what they can do with it.

(BTW) ... Didn't I write in a P.M. to you (a few weeks back) that Vinton County was on the verge of a breakout & that Coach Combs probably had something up his sleeve for the stretch run? Ahhh Haaaa ... Finally, ol 93Dog got one right for a change!

I'll get another chance to see the Vikes this Tuesday as the Logan Purple are hosted by Coach Combs and the Maroon & White ...

BIG UPSET in the MSL for Coach Brusco and FU ... prevents Canal from winning the MSL tonight ... moves FU to .500 at 9-9 ... not sure I would want to draw FU in the first round of the post season ... as Coach Brusco was schooled under Coach Stiverson at LE where EVERYTHING starts with defense ... the Stiverson Rule "hold your opponent to 50 points or less - you win" - FU is being schooled well ... excellent 1st season for Coach Sky at FU ... looking forward to seeing the Fairfield team here in the Logan Sectional in 2 weeks ...

Good win for Logan Elm tonight over Teays Valley before a packed gym. LE played very good defense, holding TV to mostly jumpers or threes. On offense, the Braves were much more aggressive, attacked the basket and also drained some threes. Much better effort...team ball at its finest.

FU 45 LE 38 Fairfield is starting to play some real nice basketball. LE hasn't looked as impressive as in the past few years.
