Circleville is 2-0. Their girls lost to Logan Elm. The boys play LE at the old Mill St. Gym on the 21st.

Once again, bman, good work. Thought I saw that on WKKJ, but obviously not.

Quick question: Does the Mill St. Gym hold that many more people? I saw in the program that they are having 3 games their and it seemed like those would've been their largest crowd games.

dani, no problem. It does get confusing. After two pretty rough seasons, it's nice to see the Cville boys off to a good start.

The Mill Street Gym doesn't seat that much more than the high school gym, but it is so much bigger than the high school gym (baseline and sideline space) and allows big crowds to move around better. It also distributes seating better between home and away fans. When they played the LE game at the high school two years ago, the LE fans filled their away side and half of the Circleville upper deck.

The game with Fairfield Union last night was played at Mill Street because the high school was hosting a JV wrestling tournament. The other two - LE and Teays Valley - are big rivals and will draw big crowds, so it makes sense to play them at Mill Street.

I'd prefer to see all of the boys games played at Mill Street, but you have to park on the streets or across the street at the preschool and walk around the middle school. That's a concern when weather is bad and things are slick.
