Meigs Wins TVC OHIO Title!

Meigs wins it’s first outright title since 1986-87 season (38 years) sitting at 18-1(10-0) with the 92-50 victory over river valley, and vinton county’s loss to nelsonville york.

Meigs has never won the TVC Ohio. The TVC Ohio never started till 1993.

That’s my mistake I meant to just put outright title all together, thank you for the clarification

Did they win in 86-87. I know they won in 85-86 with Chancey, Wise, Robinson, Baker and maybe Bissell

I believe so that’s what a bunch of the school board members have been saying

Congratulations to Coach Davis & the Marauder team ... outstanding season ... definitely one of the best teams in the Southeast District regardless of the division ... I truly feel each player is learning how to play the game/their position every time out on the court ... no longer relying solely on their size, athletic abilities - they are learning the how and why of the game ... it's scary how good this roster could have been if Coach Davis had had them for 2-3 years ... great season! outstanding players ... excellent coach ... wishing Meigs nothing but a great run deep into the post season representing the SE District ...

And got boat raced against Warren. Not to mention they cheated Marietta out of the gym to beat them. But yeah, they won the lowly TVC. Congrats. Good luck in the tournament.

Cheated marrieta? Marietta also lost to warren by more than meigs did. Just say your biased and still upset your team has 3 losses on the season

Cheated marrieta? Marietta also lost to warren by more than meigs did. Just say your biased and still upset your team has 3 losses on the season
It’s well understood they violated the rule (besides calling a bad game overall). Just because you are biased doesn’t mean what he posted isn’t true. It isn’t possible to continue play after a whistle. Period.

You can not call a bad officiating call as meigs cheating their way to the win, meigs players had nothing to do with that call. Meigs did not violate any rules in any games this year so stop trying to make it out that they have that’s not fair to the players and coaching staff who have worked their tails off to get to the position they are in. You also act as if they were taking the shot 10 seconds after the whistle blew it was within a sec that it all happened, the fact you are still whining over it at the end of the season when it was well over a month ago just shows you are biased and talking about it in a thread that has nothing to do with them or that game

I never said Meigs cheated. I didn’t bring up that game — only responded to others. It was a horribly officiated game as people who saw it (not from Marietta or Meigs have said) and the decisive whistle at the end was just a violation of the rules. Why can’t you acknowledge something that is indisputable? I’m not even saying Marietta is better than Meigs but they outplayed them that night. I would never have mentioned this again if you hadn’t.
