After a nice start to the season, Ironton has become more of a street ball team with a one on one mentality. They need to get back to early season form and start playing as a team to reach their full potential. The stat chasing has to stop. Fairland by 12 at Fairland.

Unsurprising result tonight.

Would love to see true, UNBIASED shooting percentages from this team. Poor shot selection plagued this group again tonight as well as the strong desire to lead the team in scoring yet play zero defense. Please bring back the TEAM from the first 5-6 games!

All I can say is that it comes down to coaching and you are exactly right about street ball. Definitely no defense either. Needs to be a coaching change but who would take it and have to battle football. That why Fitch is gone. He was the best theyve had since Zornes.

Fairland is a good team. That wasn’t a bad loss for Ironton. It was expected. The OVC is very balanced. A few really good teams, but no dominant teams. Any of them could get hot in the tournament and make a long run.wouldn’t surprise me to see a couple win a district.
