Minford and Waverly both have good athletes. Minford shoots the ball very well. I dont see this game being more than 6-8 points either way.
Re: 12/10 Waverly at Minford
Waverly did not shoot well from beyond the arc Tuesday night in the first half if they shoot well it’ll get out of hand
A Kicker of various balls. Trust The Process
Re: 12/10 Waverly at Minford
Correct, Trey Robertson hit three in a row in the 3rd but none fell for anybody in the first half.

Hmmm.
When a team plays to showboat is the time they are ripe for upset.
Gut feelings are your guardian angels
Re: 12/10 Waverly at Minford
Minford will compete for a bit but Waverly is just too strong. I think it ends up being Waverly by 15-20 before it's all said and done.

Waverly is good, but they lost games last year. They lost some good players off that team. Reading these comments make them sound unbeatable
Re: 12/10 Waverly at Minford
A lot of it is because Tre Robertson. He's the best player in the league and possibly all of SEO. He's THAT good. Mix that with a D1 athlete in Futhey and one of the best guard defenders around in Stulley and you have a pretty lethal team.SWHITE2002 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 11:02 am Waverly is good, but they lost games last year. They are beatable, for sure! But it would take a lot of things to fall their way.

Tre is a stud and Montgomery is next in line. Would love to see this matchup! Would like to see the Zimmerman/Futhey matchup as well. Waverly by 10+

I’d love to see the Robertson/Montgomery match up too. But I think waverly will put stulley on Montgomery. But we will see. Going to be a good game.

No one from Waverly is saying this and rest assured Waverly will NOT be entering this game showboating.

Re: 12/10 Waverly at Minford
I don't see Waverly as a showboating team. They are confident, maybe a little arrogant. But they have the team to back it up this season. Every team that plays them is at a disadvantage. they are constantly playing 3 on 4 on defense, because it takes 2 to slow down Robtertson.
Re: 12/10 Waverly at Minford
People are going to have to start saying Trey Robertson instead of just Robertson. Freshman Braylon Robertson will see plenty of action and he had three steals against Northwest Tuesday night. While football may be his “ticket” he is plenty good to be contributing on the hardwood as a freshman.
Re: 12/10 Waverly at Minford
I am definitely looking forward to seeing the younger Robertson soon. Is there a stream of this? I might try to catch this game.

smurray: haven't seen the younger Robertson play basketball yet, but he looks like a heck of a player on the football field, especially on defense. Kid definitely not afraid to hit someone.*smurray wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 3:04 pm People are going to have to start saying Trey Robertson instead of just Robertson.
