What is the word on the Pike County Tournament Dec. 29-30?

Just for clarification, it’s not the Pike County Tournament since Eastern dropped out last year. It’s the Waverly Holiday Classic with Waverly, Piketon, Western and Jackson was scheduled this year. Last year Alexander was in it.

Waverly is shut down until January.
They will have three league games to make up from December and the game scheduled for Jan 5 against Wheelersburg will need to be be moved since Waverly will have been off several weeks with no practice, contact, conditioning, etc.
Waverly was just starting to get into a groove and now they can’t do anything for 4 weeks.

I’m not totally in the know of how it all played out but all extra curricular activities were halted including practices until January.
The Waverly Holiday Classic was cancelled at that point.
The boys team was quarantined until the 23rdat midnight.
At some point the action was modified to allow practices.
Then at some point (don’t know when) the action was modified again to allow games. At that point it was too late to re-enact the Classic...

Waverly is trying to get a game for Saturday 2nd.
Game with Wheelersburg on the 5th is still on for that date as far as I know. Tigers will be rusty.

... thanks smurray - I'm glad that things were adjusted to allow both practices and games ... I had thought that the Holiday tourney HAD been canceled, and last I heard the boyz were quarantined until January - THEN when I was going through scores I ran across the Tiger girls having played , and in THE girls side of the Holiday tournament ... was wondering what was happening LOL
