I wasn’t sure how he’d adjust to the speed and physical difference of middle school but then in the 1st qtr of our foundation game he 2 hand slammed a ball with a defender on each side of him and was like, Ok he’s ready, lol. His biggest presence for us will be felt defensively. He erased a few defensive mistakes by upper class men by pinning shots on the glass that looked like they were gonna be layups. His shot blocking ability is beyond his years and his body is solid. Guessing 6’5” 215 ish. Long arms, huge hands. He’s gonna be a nightmare in a few years for teams when he gets more comfortable scoring the ball.
Sounds like a good addition to an already solid squad that has some talented, dangerous guards. Measurable's and athleticism seem to be there and that’s a scary combo for opposing teams in the future. Is this young man still growing?? He moved in his 8th grade year. You all will be hearing his name a lot in the future. All the physical gifts in the world. Like mlittle said, as he continues to add onto his offensive arsenal, he’s going to be a sight to see.
