I’d say that’s true with everyone, I know Waverly was going to have few missing.

Jackson over South Point by 6

South Point is QUICK and are active on defense. Only 6 kids but didn’t bother them much. 6’1ish kid grabbing change off the top of the backboard lol. He had 2 dunks and didn’t look to have the momentum needed but he had endless hops.

I’ll root for those kids. Coach did well with them.

I92 ... how did Eastern Pike look ? lost all of the starters but Cochenour from last season - what do they have surrounding Cochenour ? ... not sure how to take the Wellston score - as Wellston hasn't been a world beating team in recent seasons ...

I wasn’t ever really watching them. They got smacked by Wellston but we’re ahead of Waverly a decent bit before losing by about 12 but Waverly was playing younger kids it appeared.

Bragg and Spires had their off moments but I thought overall they were quite good and will be key this season. They both see the court so well and Spires just solid across the board and elite in being in control of his emotions and body. Blankenship jumps right in offensively. 3 real fine sophomores.

Freshman Winters looked unnerved and has strength to compete. I liked what I saw from him.

A couple other sophomores display some useable parts but should be JV kids

From the games I saw waverly and Logan elm seemed to be in a league of their own. Didn’t see Jackson play but sounds like they were good.

I wasn’t ever really watching them. They beat the begeezus out of Wellston and were ahead of Waverly for a decent portion but not sure Waverly wasn’t playing a lot of younger kids a lot. But from what I noticed EP looked better than I was guessing.
You have the scores mixed in that game. Wellston beat EP by like 50
