Wow. How can Athens cancel this game. It’s still 9 hours until game time and all highway. Just 8 miles of highway. Can’t believe this. This really upsets me. Was just past the school going to get a coffee. Their roads are fine was going 40 mph. Did not slip in my car. This was a weak move by Athens.

I highly doubt a single game in the TVC will be played tonight.

I hate it too. Snow days/cancellations suck. But in a lot of cases, like this one, the Superintendent makes the call. I can tell you the Super at Athens doesn't know squat about sports. He doesn't care if its big game, important game, not important or who is playing. lol

I don’t blame anyone for postponing. Just always hope that some time is given to see if conditions do improve.

Doesn't some schools have a no school, no practice or play policy?

Some if these cancellations do not make sense, but it's just a game, no reason to take chances
