I would be surprised if Norm let’s Clayton shoot very many threes. I am sure he will key on shutting him down from three point land.tigerchief1 wrote: Sat Jan 06, 2018 7:16 pm Hoover, and Dunn need to contribute coming off the bench. Need six to seven to score for the tigers to have any chance. The help side defense needs to improve, and is getting better. Would not hurt for Howell to hit some 3s, should be fun.
Tigers cant get in foul trouble and it's a MUST to knock down those open looks they missed at Oak Hill.Ukfanatic wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2018 3:46 pm I love Waverly basketball! Probably crazy, but I think the Tigers have a legit shot tonight against Osk Hill! We had a lot of good looks at Oak Hill! There is just something about that place that makes it hard to win. I know Persin is a hall of fame coach and they are really really good, but if we can knock down our open looks and get a few transition buckets out of Remington and Wolfe, we can hang with them! Let's go Tigers! Time to shock the world!
Do you mean “if” Oak Hill misses their free throws, then the outcome would have been different?
Well, Landon Carroll was the national free throw shooting champion so I’d expect him to make themsmurray wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2018 10:08 pm FINAL

Great coaching, make a couple more plays here or there and you never know.Ukfanatic wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2018 10:23 pm Great coaching by Robertson to take Darby out of the game. Landon Carroll hit shot after shot with a hand in his face. Tigers played well. They have gotten better. Will be a handful in the tournament!
