tough losse..... missed free throws hurt and costly turnovers by the point guard in the 4th quarter

MT wins on FT late I think 53-45
Jackson busted their tails on defense in second half to take 41-39 lead and had 2 wasted possessions trying to go up two scores late in the 4th...couldn’t do it.
Carson Spohn was incredible for Jackson his offense and defense in that 2nd half was some of the best play I have seen from an Ironmen player in a long time.
MT had a real good 6’6 guard with a great shot from way beyond the 3 point line. The PG (#1 I think) was a great floor general...kept his composure and helped teammates keep theirs. Midway thru 4th Spohn was faceguarding him all over the court and during free throw 70 feet away he goes to talk to coach...Spohn follows, then he gets a drink from water bottle, Spohn follows...then he took water bottle and squirted some into Spohn’s mouth. Lol, good stuff and good sport from that kid.
Good road win for a pretty good team. Jackson didn’t play well on offense missing several up close to basket shots and too many open 3’s. Dissapointing to work that hard to rally and take lead but not prevail. Proud of their efforts and confident they’ll get back on track.

Tuff :loss with a lot big games before new years.need to get big three scoring to have a chance against teams like chili Athens unioto coming up

Jackson half court offense was awful. Majority of their points came from forcing MT to turn the ball over. No post presence really hurts Jackson. They would not try to attack and get inside the zone. Very complacent and content with just hanging around the perimeter. Donaldson was a non factor offensively. He has to give Jackson more. He crashed the glass well though and got double digit rebounds, but he has to put the ball in the hole for them. Spohn was excellent as always.
