Southern 41 @ Fort Frye 65 Final

Post by EasternDspy »

Last scheduled reg season home game for the Cadets. Look to get a good game in before the rematch with (12-3) Monroe Central next Friday

Against teams Fort Frye played, Southern lost to Waterford by nine, and three.
They beat Belpre by nine.

Fort beat Belpre in the first game of the season, and also beat Waterford.

TVC guys, what does The Tornados have size wise, and shooting? Zone, or man to man defense?

Game day and still not much info on Southern. No Southern fans on this site?

FF will have no problem. Southern is small and not that great this year. What they do have however is a very good group of kids.

All TVC schools are tough to beat at home but if I had to pick the worst officials on a yearly basis at a given location it would be
Top 3 not in order

Waterford
Wahama
Wellston

It must be a W thing.

I am with you on Wellston. And that is in every sport. Can't speak for the other two W's though. Not sure we ever play there.

For once, I was able to enjoy a basketball game in Mason. The refs tried like heck to cheat us but we overcame it. That dang wolf kid with the two handed dunk really set the tone and the place erupted all over weehoma on their home floor. Still, I wish Daniel and Tony would get to the business of running them out of the hocking. We don't need those guys messing up our proud Ohio tradition.
