Question about the JV game why was the game played in 7 minute quarters. I have never seen this and I've been watching HS basketball for 50 years.

I noticed the same thing when Chesapeake played at Portsmouth. At the start of the 4th quarter the clock had 7 minutes on it. Not sure about the first 3 quarters.

Maybe it's an SEOAL thing. The SVC used to play 7 minute JV quarters until the last few years.
