Logan Elm will use the same script as vs Sherdian ... defense, defense and more defense, offensively get the scoring spread across the lineup ... show the ability by multiple players to knockdown the three ball ... get 3 or 4 baskets in transition ... turn up the pressure in the 3rd/4th quarters force TOs to get "point separation" ... just as is the case in every LE game this season - limit the opponents point total so the Braves aren't having to match made baskets ... IF LE can "control" the scoreboard/spread around the scoring consistently for all 4 quarters Braves get the "W" ...

I'll take LE by 4 in a barnburner. MT will try to quicken the pace greatly and I believe will succeed on occasion, but the Braves should be able to grind out the late possessions and seal up another trip the District Finals.

The matchup is interesting... I am not sold on Logan Elm because they play so up and down.. you don't know which one is going to show up.. They trailed Chilli 16-9 at half time of their game a few weeks back...they just don't seem to be consistant enough offensively for me.. I like Stiverson as he is a good coach but so is Stauffer at MT... should be a good game.. Toss up.

I have seen LE this year, but have not seen Miami Trace. What kind of team are they pounded it inside or shoot it from the outside, run and gun, what type of D do they play?

Buckeyes... Trace likes to get it out and go.. they have an athlete in the middle and some good shooters..they have scored in the 70- 80's several times this year.. I look for LE to slow it down and run a lot of quick hitters..Stiversons kids do a good job at Slipping screens and he's always had his staggered screens for his shooters (Young this year)..It should be a good watch with teams wanting to do different things... Trace has more scorers but if LE gets the game in the 40's that may not matter...

I like Logan Elm to win this one by 8-12 pts....way more battle tested than Trace....LE usually handles pressure fairly well....

I think MT can win but it depends on which team shows up. They have been Jekyll and Hyde this year, some games they look unbeatable and others they look just average, and it happens in the course of 32 minutes sometimes like the Waverly game. IF they can play like they did the 1st half vs Waverly and sustain it for 4 qtrs then they should be ok but they tend to have lapses where they don't score for long periods. They have to start closing out games when they get up 10, 12, and 15 pts. and not let their opponents back into games.
