I didn't really look in depth but I jumped Minford over Vinton County....can't say I really had a reason.

Hey bulldog....who would you have put at number 4....EB?

Curios how Bulldog could have Warren and Athens tied even though Athens has two losses and one of them is to Warren??

Looks good but I would replace Oak Hill with Minford.

That No. 10 spot could be a number of different teams, IMO ... I just threw Oak Hill in their.

Oak Hill, Minford, Miami Trace ... are all worthy ... plus, folks need to start paying attention to Sheridan (11-5) too ... they have won 6 straight and have been killing teams lately .. beat West Muskingum 84-22 ... beat Morgan 62-26 ... they beat Columbus Desales and Mifflin as well ... but the Generals biggest win came last week when they defeated New Concord John Glenn 41-37.

My Week 9 Rankings
1. Ironton
2. Warren
3. Athens
4. Eastern Brown
5. Valley
6. Piketon
7. Minford
8. Vinton County
9. Eastern Pike
10. Sheridan

I thought Sheridan was 11-4. I might be missing a game (loss) that might have affected their placement.

I would not have a problem with Valley and Piketon over Eastern Brown. Valley and Eastern share a few common opponents, and the Warriors took a beating from a team Valley beat by 25+. The Indians have lost 1 game since the first week of the season when they were less than 2 weeks removed from the football field. They took a beating from Ironton and blew a lead against Piketon. I believe that Minford is better than the Warriors also. I'm not sold the Warriors.

My ratings
1. Ironton
2. Warren
3. Athens
4. Piketon
5. Valley
6. Minford
7. Eastern Brown
8. Vinton County
9. Oak Hill
10. Eastern Pike

I said the same thing last year until I watched Eastern Brown take Ironton to overtime in a DIII district championship game - before losing 66-61. They had 10 kids on that roster last year that were underclassmen, including their best player Chase Lawson ... when I seen EB beat Logan Elm down at The Beasts of The Southeast a few weeks back, they looked just as good as they did at the Convo last year.

On that basis - I keep ranking them pretty high.

Eastern Brown is 16-2 on the season. Not sure which game everybody is missing but it could be a win against ST.Pat (KY).

I know Zane Trace lost to Southeastern, but they have had a great year and I feel are a top 10 team. One loss was without their PG (Logan Elm) and the other was in overtime (Piketon). I had them ranked 8th.

Unioto twice. Not much else, but they have Circleville and Eastern Pike in the non league this week.
