I have no idea of the size of Athens' lineup, but River must've made it interesting with those 15 3's. Wow. Hopefully, Pilots return to that tournament event next season.

Is Athen really any good ? Impartial people that saw the game said neither team played any defense.It is much easier to shoot if no one is guarding you .The big tests for River will come very soon . Shenandoah at Sarahsville could be a challenge ,crowded gym ,Shenandoah coach a River grad and two straight losses . Magnolia at New Martinsville will be a struggle . A rival game and many think Magnolia has little respect for River and back to back games . The Pilots have Buckeye Trail twice ,Shadyside twice , Caldwell away , a rematch with Monroe Central and Fort Frye at Beverly . These games could make or break a season. River has a great deal of experience and made the top four of the ovac tournament last year . At this time of the season, Basketball becomes a preview for the tournament . Unlike Football every team will make the playoffs . Good luck to all .

Athens is pretty good . They havent hit their stride yet with the late start, injuries , and illness. But they are getting there. Werent too many open looks in that game either.
