Question for my officiating friends

Anyone heard of a "new rule" requiring a player to be supervised if the player leaves the gym area to go to the restroom? If not supervised, then the resulting action is a technical foul?

Not sure about a Technical Foul, but players should be supervised at all times, and if a player is ejected from a contest, a coach or member of the school personnel must accompany the athlete and supervise them in the lockerroom for the duration of a contest.

No such rule exists. A player can go to the restroom during a game. Unless it is a SCHOOL rule. it IS NOT an OHSAA rule.......................
