I hate to see the season wrap up. It's been an exciting one, with the standings shifting around as Fayetteville and Whiteoak rose to the top, with manchester and Ripley sliding down. Easter Brown wins the Gold Ball, the first team to do so since the 2009 Green Devils (fact check me, SHL fans). I'm looking forward to seeing how our teams do in the tournament, but disspointed ot see that the Lions and the Wildcats ONCE AGAIN play in round one.

Mad props to the always excellent reporting at the Highland County Press. I used to scour the Internet for scores, checking SEOPs, cincinnati.com, and even facebook statuses, but Stephen Forsha goes out of his way to provide up to the minute coverage of SHL--er....SHAC games. I think Peebles/ Western was 68-35. Can anyone confirm? I came in late to this one and didn't really pay attention to the final. It was a 40pt game at the end of the third but the score was whittled down a little in the fourth as both teams experimented with different lineups.

Whiteoak is 1-0 in the SHAC. Their games at North Adams was not a league game. I'm also guessing that North Adams is 0-1 in the SHAC.

They used to, but it has been a few years since they have done that. Now they only play one time. I think this year it is @ Whiteoak. May have something to do with Whiteoak putting the only blemish on their record in 2002 when both teams went to the final four!

it makes sense to play again since they are allowed 22 games. guaranteed sell out which adds money to each schools budget.
it would be smarter than eastern playing westfall and whiteoak playing riverview east.
