I played for Norm 22 years ago and wish him nothing but the best in his efforts to get 600. It will be nice at the Beast of The Southeast when Norm gets inducted into Chesapeakes Hall of Fame. After all the court is named after him. Norm was a great coach and put the Panther program on the map and I believe its here to stay. Whats neat is that you see Norm in some of the areas good coaches: Lafon at Ironton and Ater at South Webster and others I'm sure I failed to mention. Having said that the Panthers biggest fear was How do you replace Norm when he leaves? After a few seasons we landed another great coach whom I hope my son will get the privelage to play under once he transfers in Ryan Davis. I hope that we can keep him around for a long time because he is special and a great coach who loves those kids that play for him.

Got to have better ball movement to beat the Oaks. Too much standing around. I love the defense. Oak Hill has good size so Sutton and Dyer need to step up.

Size will not be a problem. Sutton and Loop are always ready for that challenge and Dyer is really coming along now. He will be a problem on the inside for other teams in the future, for now it's all about getting experience.

I'm surprised no one is bringing up the fact that Norm may get his 600th v a former player. That is a pretty cool fact. Student v the Teacher.

I played for Norm 9 years ago, and I can't begin to describe the amount of respect I have for the man.

Chesapeake has a new outstanding coach, but kids for 20+ years have wanted to play basketball at Chesapeake because of the name on our court. Congrats coach.

Coach Persin is well respected across the State of Ohio ,and has established many records in the Ohio Valley Conference,that will never be broken, i think that included 13 consecutive championships.His teams played hard,fast pace game for years,and made it to the regionals eight times,and finally he got his State Championship at Oak Hill.Good luck coach if you don't get it against Steven,it will happen soon.

That's a good question. A better one would be; why was it cancelled in the first place?
There were a bunch of games that night and I found out late - after trying to find a score - that it was cancelled.
