CHESAPEAKES EXPLOSION

Post by Peake »

When the charity game tipped off between the Panthers and Vikings the Panthers were undersized once again but it didnt matter. The Panthers Exploded on the offensive side of the ball, we werent sure if the peake could make up for the loss of Shoemaker but they put that to rest in this one. The final was CHS 77 SV 60 but 61 0f the Panthers points came from two players alone Nathan Copley 24points and Kyle Webb 37points an they didnt see the floor the last five minutes of the game. The Panthers are a defence wins kinda team with their up tempo style of play most of the points came off tournovers caused by the good pressure from the Panther Defence, and fast breaks!! I see the Panthers at the top of the OVC world when it's all said and done!!

Go PEAKE!! BEAT THE BURG!!!!

How many times do I have to say this.....

De-fence is where de-birds sit

De-fense it what wins games.

Congrats to Peake on the win. It sounds like the Pirates may have their hands full this weekend.

The Panthers ball movement and team defense were as impressive as Webb and Copley who are the best outside shooters in the OVC hands down. We converted on a lot of turnovers and the ball movement on offense created wide open looks for our shooters.

The real test will be against a much stronger Wheelersburg team that is always well coached and disciplined. Our bigs--Saunders and Zimmerman, must stay out of foul trouble in order for us to have a shot at taking down the Pirates.
