Fairland vs. Lynchburg Clay - District Final

Post by bbjunky81 »

Can't believe there isn't a thread on this yet.

IMO, the 2 best D3 teams in SE Ohio square off on Saturday for the District title.

Fairland looked excellent - solid players all around. But will their youth hurt them?

Lynchburg was very good as well. Length, size, speed, depth.

This will be an absolute battle!

I'll go:

Fairland 64
Lynchburg 55

Fairland was very impressive. By far the most impressive team yesterday. I'll take Fairland by 10

May have been the best two teams from Sunday. If Vanhorn can stay in the game Fairland by 10

I think fairland wins but it will be closer. Clays defense is terrific.

I think Fairland has too much for LC. However, I picked Wheelersburg to beat them and Wheelersburg didn't show up. So, it's anybody's guess. Just for the H--- of it, I'll take Fairland by 8 points.

IYes, Isaiah had a great game. Rebounding macine in about every game. All 5 starters have led the team in scoring in more than 1 game this year, so it could be anyone having that great game against lc. Ill take fairland 78 - 66 in a great game to watch.

Haven't seen Lynchburg Clay play this year so I can't definitely pick a winner. Hoping Chesapeake and Fairland win so we can see a third game in this rivalry this year, especially in Regional Semis at the Convo

Should be a real good game. I've seen both a couple times and I'm saying LC will run, run, run.

Should be a very interesting game to watch, since both teams like to push the ball up the court. I would love to see a game where both teams are above 60 points.

Fairland quick down court!

Looks like they are a bit better defensively

I figured Van Horn would have a BIG game since he sat out the entire game in the semi finals due to fouling out ...
