Jackson @ Chili 1/27

Post by ironmen200 »

thoughts?
i think Jackson has it this time around, they lost by a last second three at home, and chili stormed the court! Jackson should have some fire in them just beacause of that...

We look forward to the Ironmen of Jackson, invading the "HAT" on Friday night. With this Cavalier team, anything is possible, but I wouldn't be to quick to think Jackson will steal away our home court. Jackson is as talented as I have seen them in quite awhile. Though, IMO, the league is down and more balanced as compared to other years. Chapman is definitely 1st team all league and he has help around him.

The bottom line is if the Cavs take care of the basketball and run the offense through London, than good things happen. Zach Johnson is as good As any with his mid range game and ability to get to the rim. These two combined can put up 40 points. With the others chipping in with good outside shooting, good defense and effort plays, Jackson will need to find plenty of offense to win.

Anything can happen on Friday nights, but I know one thing that will happen and that is Chilly will play defense. I hang my hat on that and hopefully the D carries us Friday night, while the offense continues to improve.

GO CAVS!!!

They hit a 28 foot shot at the buzzer to win it....of course they stormed the court. Hopefully Jackson can do the same Friday.

I wish I didn't hold my tongue now, LOL. I was sure that this was the situation.

Jackson is by far the best .500 or below team in the district, it wouldn't surprise me to see them get the W at the Hat. Should be a great game once again.

Chilli's D-fense is one of the top two in Southern Ohio, at times may be the best. The record shows how erratic guard play can screw things up royally. When the ball is not in Johnson's hands, turnovers occur regularly. This makes what could be a very tough team to beat night in and night out, very beatable night in and night out. Patience, and the O running through Johnson and London, with the complimentary players doing their job(and not trying to do too much), combined with stingy D-fense should provide the CAVS another win at home. But if the "others" play eratically, as they have at times in the past, Jackson has a solid squad that could give the CAVS all they can handle.

Jackson has two of the softest post players I have seen for they're size. Hopefully they bang on London and use some fouls up and make it difficult on him to score and rebound. I think that has to be the difference!

Chilli wins on a last second shot the previous time. I think this one could be a good game as well.

Go Cavs!

I'll be surprised if Johnson has as poor as a game this go around.....but will also be surprised if London goes 21/15/7

Quinn can play some and pound on him.....but if London plays like he did at Jackson it could be a tough night.
