Chillicothe-Zanesville 68-63; SEOAL D.O.C.

Post by Blu_n_Whyt »

Looking for clarity here.

Chillicothe is 13-0, Zanesville 12-1.

Technically, has Chillicothe sewn up at least a share of the title, or if Zanesville is the winner of this game (under the guise of a "Day of Champions") are they declared the champ?

It would seem a share, but I've not heard a clear determination from those who designed the D.O.C.

(This post was started before the acutal game, then was used as an update for the game by others.) Blu

Blue n White, am fairly sure as per league "rules" in basketball, the winner of tonights contest between the Cavs and Devils will be the SEOAL Champions.

That would stand to reason considering how the other games are played out...

i.e., if Zanesville were 9-4 and Chillicothe 8-5, playing in the game for third place, and the Cavs were to win, Chillicothe would be awarded third because of the victory.

I guess that's the only drawback of a D.O.C. format, eh?

Another thing the SEOAL could work on. I am not sure you don't crown two division champs and then one league champ. Not sure how the SOC does it.

Just about showtime.

GO CAVS!!!

Chillicothie fans thought they were going to get screwed at Zanesville & they didn't. Now that they lose, they think they did?

apparently you cant read complete posts because before i mentioned anything about the officiating i said i am NOT a Chilli fan and i dont even like their program but i do think the calls were pretty lopsided

and also, im speaking on my own behalf and not on the behalf of chillicothe fans

Congratulations to the Zanesville Blue Devils on their SEOAL title.

I look for Chillicothe to advance to the state in D2, and ZHS can at least make the regionals in D1.
