VC will take this one. VC will be undefeated in the TVC again. Does anyone know the last time a team has went undefeated in the TVC in back to back seasons?

I'm guessing Belpre did it in the 90's somewhere, but I'm not for sure.

In the old TVC, back in the day, Fed Hoc may of went undefeated 3 years in a row. Back when Chuck Robinson played for them!
Teams were: Belpre, NY, Fed Hoc, VC, & Warren Local.
Only had to win 8, and teams only played 18 game seasons!
If all his games were played in TVC?

VC can't look past the Spartans, which I'm sure they're not!
Since the lost to Hunninton Local VC has been playing monster defense.
Vikes need to continue this throughot the seaon and into the sectional.
"Defense wins championships."

A bigger question, is Alex 100% healthy? My sources said that a Spartan was injured on Friday? Does anyone know?

Just came back from the Girls' VC/Alex game, and I was told that Kyle Barnhouse has a strained PCL and Wes Bolin has broken a bone in his lower leg which was done during the Wellston game.

I was at the girls' game last night as well - great job Lady Spartans! - and I heard the following:

At the game on Friday there will be a "Coaches for Cancer" fundraiser. The game ball signed by both VC and Alex teams will be auctioned off, a "donation war" jar, and the Alex AD is giving the athletic department's half of split the pot to the fundraiser. Both coaches will be wearing their sneakers with their dress clothes in support of the Coaches for Cancer.

When you come to the game on Friday bring some extra $ to give to a great cause.

Good Luck Alexander Spartans in the game!

Its a shame Alex wont be 100%. Are these guys out long? Will they play at all? It really doesnt matter VC is on a mission since the Huntington loss. They are playing great D and the younger players have developed very nicely. VC will be a very tough team for anyone from here on out.

Spartacat, What a nice idea to raise money for the Coachs For Cancer fundraiser. I will not be able to attend(Do to Surgery) but will be sure to send a donation with one of my family members. Hope you do well for this very important fundraiser. Good Luck to both Teams, but I have to pull for the Vikings. :-D :-D :-D :-D
