Eh? Welcome to Ohio I guess. This isn't football, there are only 4 divisions in basketball and it's been that way since 1987. Before that, it was 3 divisions...yes, 3.

A well deserved #8 for Z-Ville. Excellent program that can compete with anybody. Despite not having much size, they will be a force simply because they play smart and D people up.
GO CAVS!!!

Where is Vinton County? Surely they should be in the top ten before a 9-5 team

VC is a D2 team and the 9-5 team is D3 and a very good one in North College Hill out of Cincy.

Look at your schedule.....that may be one reason.

How are they so good? Didn't their recruits leave? D2 or D3 VC should be at least a top 10 team. And they aren't my team but they are in our conference and I have seen them play.

If you look at the 2 losses VC has had in the past 2 years (Chilly and Huntington) they are both ranked Chilly 5 D2 and the Huntsman 6 D3. Im not saying VC deserves to be in the top 10 but they should be receiving votes.

We are looking at our schedule, and seeing 12 W's as opposed to 1 L

Anytime a team from our area is ranked it is a plus for the entire district. Vinton County is 12-1, North Adams is around 12-1 and neither one is mentioned. I know the polls don't mean anything but they are nice for fans, players, coaches, and the community. I would love to see all the local papers heavily support these teams so they receive credit in the polls instead of voting for the same schools year after year that they have never seen play.

Eaglepaw,North College Hill is the defending D-3 state champ. They play a murderous schedule with the likes of Moeller St X. etc.Oh and the recruits have been gone for 2 years now.Bill Walker is at Kansas State and Oj Mayo is at USC.THey won it all last year with all of their own kids.
