Caldwell (9-2) @ Fort Frye (8-3) 1/8/16

Post by J_Manziel2 »

Should be a great matchup in Beverly featuring 2 of the leagues top players in Anderson and Clark. What's everyone think? Have to give the edge to the Cadets being at home and coming off a loss.

Curious to watch the big boy play.Cadets have played up for games like Warren at Home, Harrison Central and Williamstown but struggled vs Trail and Frontier. One of the keys is keeping Anderson and Kiefer on the court and out of foul trouble.

Fort is a tough place to play. My sons group blew big leads down there the last two years and never did beat fort. This Caldwell team is physically strong, a lot of football kids. I'm surprised at how well they've played. I think it's going to be a tight one. Clark and Anderson are going to offset one another if they stay out of foul trouble. The role players will decide it. Better get there early. Should be a packed house

Final 37-32 Caldwell Fort got a T with 2 seconds left because they called a TO when they didn't have any. It was 33-32 at the time.

Most impressive thing was the fact that the Skins held Fort to 32 points on home floor.

Did they play zone? I was surprised that Anderson was held to just 5 pints

One of the best games that I have watched in a while. Both teams played hard good defense. 5 point lead is about the largest lead either team was able to get. Cant wait for the rematch.

Definitely the best high school basketball game I have seen this year. What a great atmosphere for high school basketball. Both teams played tremendous defense. The x-factor was Francis holding Anderson to 5 pts. In the end there was nobody to stop Clark as he always seemed to score at key times in the games and had 26 of the 37. Wish these two teams played every night because they will always be close games that either team could win. Looking forward to the next one. Fort bounces back tonight though at Waterford. No way 3 losses in a row

At this point in the season......Tanner Clark is player of the year in the PVC.... Just my opinion.
Anderson and other good players will have to step up in the second half of the season.

Player of the year if they did one should go to the PVC Champions best player so I think it's a 2-horse race with Clark and Anderson. Would love to have both on my team
