South Point vs. South Webster Complete Game Recap

Pointers win big over South Webster

SOUTH POINT, OH-What an incredible start to the season it has been for the South Point Pointers as a victory over South Webster December, 21st has the team undefeated going into Christmas break at 7-0. From the opening tip, the game belonged to the Pointers as they had a 26-7 lead to end the opening quarter. The game was over with from there as South Point went on to win by a score of 66-29.
Todd Mayo was the leading scorer for the Pointers as he put up 18 points. Seniors Beau Weed and Corey Taylor were second and third on Pointers scoring with 13 and 10 points respectively. South Point also won the JV game big by a score of 48-18. Kyle Winkler was the leading scorer in that game.
The Pointers will now take an eight day break for Christmas as they will next be in action on Saturday, December 29th as they host Northwest. The Lady Pointers will next be in action on Thursday, December 27th in a huge game against Oak Hill.
