Waverly 56-45 and rebounding edge will be the difference

Zeke getting healthy and back on track was a life saver last night. Double double by him and Will I believe.

Lots of grabbing and holding off the ball last night. Trey could of ended up at the line more than he did. He got around his man and took it all the way to the rim more than he normally does. He takes a lot of body shots as defenders come at odd angles to contest the shot and end up contacting as he is shooting. Gotta make that call.

Should be a dandy game.
Lol. He shot 15 foul shots last night. Our whole team took 9. You would think we took 30 threes with that few of trips to the line. WE SHOT 6. We lived in the paint and took 9 foul shots. Oh and I forgot to mention 6 of those 9 were intentional fouls late in the game. So we took 3 foul shots on shot attempts in the entire game. If those numbers were coming from the Waverly game the internet would’ve exploded last night. Trust me Waverly does not want to play in a game like that. Nobody does
Waverly DOES want a game like that! Hillsboro forced uniotos PG and only ball handler into 8+ (Close to 10) turnovers playing a physical game, and even more importantly broke that kids spirit had him focused on/complaining to officials all night. So let’s not say Waverly doesn’t want that game!

I’ll guess Waverly hasn’t played a game like that all year. Waverly won’t win the game of physicality

I can’t for the life of me remember who won that game. Can you remind the class again?

And again if the game is THAT physical our guards won’t be the only ones turning the ball over. We’ve been in and won games like that all year. Why wouldn’t we want a close to 10 turnover game from our guards and a win? Lol

I’ll take some extra turnovers for limited trips to the foul line for Waverly. Let’s think about this one

His spirit was so broke he stepped up with a minute and a half left up 1 point and sank 4 straight foul shots to close the game. Please Waverly break his spirit again.

Unioto maybe the most consistent team in the district in what they do. Waverly has to find a way to be better than Unioto....and Unioto will be good.

I’m guessing Fairfield Union prefers Waverly to win.

I could see this one both ways. I’m just assuming the best version of Waverly comes to play and picking Waverly by 5

Nah, he’d chug 6 Red Bulls, jog to Illinois and back and then he’d be pretty settled

Should be a great game. Waverly seems to play to the level of competition, so they will probably play well.

Which team has the more enthusiastic fans? In tight games that can sometimes give a team the boost they need to survive and move on!
