... yes, New Lex wins the OT 10-4 and the game 49-43 ... New Lex is a solid TEAM - only going 6 deep but the 6 are solid/play well together ... the only quarter they showed a chink in the armor was the 3rd - only scored 2 points/ turned the ball over 7 times under the Ironton press gave up 3 transition buckets in the qtr. the Ironton soph duo of Schreck/Terry took over the 3rd period outscoring NL 14-2 ... NL looked rattled/frustrated with calls and no calls ... 4th period the Panthers righted the ship behind with senior leadership - back to back 3 pointers by senior Lukas Ratliff and and a trey by sophomore Bentley Hanson ... the overtime was all NL as they got the early lead, Ironton fouled and got down multiple possessions ... NL went 8/10 from the FT line in the OT ...

Ironton played like they were down 10 in the 4th qtr instead of being up 10. .They should of run some cloc and offensek each time down. Poor shot selection down the stretch.

I was very impressed with New Lexington. Complete commitment to defense. Take care of ball, take good shots, shoot well, crash the boards and make their free throws….they do things really well. Ratliff was all defense vs Jackson shutting down our top scorer and when he had to score he did. Hanson is tough! #23 somehow stood out on that team with his great hustle (and they all do but his was eye opening effort)
